Welcome to the Institute of Applied Mechanics at the Technical University of Munich. On this homepage you will find all information about our institute at the faculty of mechanical engineering, its research and offered lectures. Currently, twenty scientific assistants are working on research projects and support the lectures. Additionally, about ten employees at the mechanical workshop and administration office guarantee regular business. For more information about our research activities with the main focus on dynamics and control of mechatronical systems refer to the research pages. You will find interesting subjects concerning both theoretical fundamentals and many application oriented projects.

Students may inform themselves about lectures and labs on the courses page. We also offer a variety of topics for diploma thesis and student work which are strongly connected to our research.
